Since 2004, the Oregon Center for Nursing has evaluated employer demand for nurses as part of it’s core research. Our demand work tracks key metrics that indicate the stability of the nursing workforce and difficulty recruiting and hiring an adequate workforce.
As our study of the demand for nurses has progressed, we came to recognized that demand for nurses looks different in different health sectors.
