Survey to help better understand recruitment, retention and retirement issues for nurse faculty in Oregon
OCN has launched a new survey of nurse faculty to get a better sense of how nurse faculty has changed since the 2009 report “Oregon’s Nurse Faculty Workforce.” This report highlighted some of the pressing needs to prepare the next generation of nurse educators.
Nurse faculty are an important part of the nursing workforce. They are responsible for educating and preparing the next generation of nurse leaders. Without highly qualified, well-supported nurse faculty, Oregon cannot continue to meet the demand for well-prepared nursing professionals. This survey is designed to study what it takes to recruit nurse faculty, how to retain them in their positions and how are nurse faculty planning for their own retirement.
If you are a nurse educator, and you would like to participate in this survey, please contact Kelley Ilic at email@example.com or 503-342-4048 for a survey link.
